Help to restore Vance's smile

This past Memorial Day at our family's BBQ, my 11-year-old nephew Vance suffered a terrible accident while playing with his brothers and cousins. He brushed a spider off his brother's leg for and before he was out of the way, his brother took a swing with a baseball bat. He took a direct hit to his mouth knocking out several teeth and uprooting many others. He also had hairline fractures on both the upper and lower jaw bones.
The two top teeth were placed back in the mouth several hours later but they were broken half. One other tooth that was replaced did not survive and had to be removed. The lower teeth that were bent backward were temporarily bonded with wires to try to keep them in his mouth. To further complicate this injury, Vance had a few baby teeth extracted (to make room for adult teeth) just prior to the accident posing a challenge to bridge or bond the teeth to in the back.
Here are photos while he was in the E.R. They are difficult to look at.

Unfortunately since the accident happened, Vance has been teased by some of his school mates because of his appearance and missing so many teeth. The effects of this accident have been far reaching beyond just his pain and difficutlty eating.
The good news is that the fractures have healed well on their own. Unfortunately, the financial difficulty on the family is growing. The oral surgeon has recommended that as a first step Vance will need two root canals and veneers for the top two teeth. This dental work is not covered and will cost $2,500. He will soon need braces as a result and cannot have implants until he turns 18.
The good news is that Vance will have his root canals today! His parents have been offered a short term credit so there will not be a delay in getting this done for him.
I'm hoping that by reaching out to family and friends we can ease the pain of this ordeal for their family and help them to repay the credit offered to them.
Here are some photos of Vance today.

Vance has a long road ahead but he will get there and have a confident smile again one day.
Thank you so much for your generosity, your thoughts and prayers and spreading the word to see if we can hit our goal and bring some comfort to my sister's family.
