It's crazy how your life can change in the matter of seconds.
My family has always been hard working people. They came to the U.S for a better life and opportunity. Everything they worked so hard for burned down May 19 around 10:40pm. I thank god me and my family made it out safe although we couldn't save my dog that had recently gave birth to 7 beautiful puppies.
It all happened so fast, we couldn't save anything. We grabbed each other and ran out our home. There was no turning back, the fire kept growing rapidly. The place we called "Home" is no longer there.
I truly believe we didn't deserve this. No one does. The emotions that went through my body are difficult to explain. Our memories, childhood, pictures, everything that was worthy burned right in front of our eyes. Everything we worked so hard for is completely gone. This is truly devastating and breaks my heart knowing that we can't get none of the valued stuff we had back. The one thing I hoped was saved in the fire was a portrait of my grandma who recently passed away. My mom didn't get the chance to get the portrait back. We were on the right track for once, we were planning opening up a Mexican Restaurant since my dad has a passion for cooking. We aren't bad people, we worked so hard for everything that was burned. We have never robbed nor purposely hurt anyone. I made this fund to help my family out and try to get our home back or afford new things that we lost, if you can donate or at least share this out in your social media, anything would really help a lot. We don't have any other choice but to work hard and keep going. Although this is such a terrible tragedy, we never give up. Thank y'all so much.
