Hi, my name is Jessica, and I’m a single mom doing my best to keep a roof over our heads. I’ve started this fundraiser because I’m facing the very real possibility of losing our home to foreclosure, and I need help to get through this incredibly difficult time. We have a foreclosure hearing set for March 16th. After that, they could sell our house at any moment.

I work 2 jobs, but as a single parent, my income just isn’t enough to cover all the expenses and despite my efforts, I’ve fallen behind. Now, I’m at risk of losing my home my children and I have built our lives in. We’ve shared birthdays here, holidays, first days of school and I’m trying everything I can to keep that stability for my family.

I’m asking for $10,000 to stop the foreclosure process and get back on solid ground. This would cover the retainer for a bankruptcy lawyer and give us a chance to at least keep our home and start over. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean the world to us.
