Dear friends and family,
As some of you may or may not know, on Wednesday, May 4th, I will be having an Angiogram Procedure. This procedure will be the start of a long and daunting process in order to fix complications with my Mitral Valve, that have been causing me pain, discomfort, shortness of breath, and swelling in my body. Following this procedure, I will have to undergo Open-Heart Surgery at UCLA Hospital at some point in May.
Unfortunately, I did not have disability insurance and will be unable to work to my normal capacity in the coming months. Without income stability, I am worried that I will be vulnerable and unable to pay for the basic necessities I need to live (home rent, work rent, mortgage, utilities, food, etc..).
In recent weeks, I have had to cut back on the amount of hours I could work in order to deal with this situation. Due to this, I truly need these funds as soon as possible in order to provide me with some peace of mind about the scary road ahead.
First off, this procedure and process is going to completely change my life, and I don't want money to be a limiting and stressful factor on top of this already immensely large burden. With so much coming up in my near future, such as my son graduating college and becoming a newly wed, I don't want to miss a beat!
