Funeral & Travel Expenses for Fam
My name is Martin Stohs. I come from a family of 4 brothers, of which my brother Dennis Pavao is the youngest, age 43. He also has two children of his own ages 14 and 16.
I am asking for donations of money to help pay for the funeral of my little brother; because on Saturday, 7/9/16, around 10 p.m., he was violently shot and killed in his own home trying to fend off an intruder. Unfourtunately, do to the suddenness of his death, we were not prepared to make funeral arrangements and have very few funds to do so.
We are also asking for donations of money to help pay for our flights over to Georgia, so that we may travel to see our brother.
We would like to use the money to have him creamated and split the ashes between his two children and possibly his brothers. We would like to put the ashes into small keepsake type containers to maintain his memory and love. In addition, we would like to have a memorial service for his friends and family.
My brother was a loving soul, with an amazing talent for bringing others together through song. He believed strongly in God and was always searching for the path closest to God. At times he searched for his place in life; but no matter what, he always drew those around him toward his love and positivity. He will be greatly missed.
Any donation from small to large will be greatly appreciated, because even the smallest dollar or penny brings us one step closer to being able to celebrate his life and love in the best way we can. Thank you for anything and all you can do.
Alofa to all,
Martin L Stohs
