The opening day fire at Al's Steakhouse was devasting both for the Breeding Family, and the community. Everyone was anxiously awating the reopening of Al's for quite some time and the excitment was mounting.
Now it's time for the Del Ray community to do what it does best, support one another when times are tough.
There will be a fundraiser Thursday Night, July 14, from 5:30 pm to close at Holy Cow Gourmet Burgers at 2312 Mt. Vernon Ave. With the help of neighboring restaurants, local chef's, Bo Severson (Son of the late owner John Severson), and the new owners the Breeding Family, Holy Cow will be serving Authentic Al's Cheesesteaks all evening.
100% of all the proceeds from that evening will be distributed to the Breeding family to help them survive this devasting tragedy.
