This is my 17 year old nephew Jacob. Last week he was accepted to a college and everyone was so proud. This week he had emergency surgery and was diagnosed with cancer, it is crazy what can happen in a week. My sister, his mom has been a single parent for most of his life. She can not do this alone, they will need so much help as he goes through chemotherapy and radiation. She can not afford to miss work to be with him as much as he will need. Please help me help relieve some of the burden of the expenses to come. Tuesday he will start chemotherapy, they put in a port yesterday. His sister flew to Texas to be there and do what she can to help. They are facing a long rough road and anything helps. I will make updates as often as I can.
