Help Riqui Estrada while battling cancer
Donation protected
This is Our brother Riqui, I know most of you know him, and are aware that he was diagnosed with Cancer. After more testing, and pet scans we were recently given more details. Riqui is diagnosed with Stage 4 Bladder Cancer. This type of cancer is very aggressive, and has spread quite alot already. Unfortunately there is no cure for this type of cancer, and the life expectancy is 2 years. Our family is heartbroken, in shock, and scared of what the future holds. Riqui has always been the rock in our family. If any of us ever needed anything, he was right there helping out. He also has helped us to raise our children, his nieces, and nephews. He has been a father figure to all of them, and has guided them with love as they grow. Hes always been an Awesome brother, and son. While we grew up, and lived our lives, he stayed behind to care for my parents. Our mother is gone now, but Riqui is still my dads primary caregiver. Riqui started Chemo last week, and will continue with Chemo on a 3 week cycle. 2 weeks on, 1 week off. After about the 4th, or 5th cycle his doctor will run more test, and scans to see if the Chemo is keeping the cancer at bay. If not, they'll try different types of Chemo drugs until they have exhausted all types. When that happens we'll find more options. We won't give up!!!. Unfortunately while he is receiving Chemotherapy, there will be alot of days that he will be unable to work, and bills are already starting to pile up. Riqui says it'll be fine, and he'll figure things out, but were not ok with that. We refuse to let him worry about bills, but instead concentrate on making every day count, and to be happy, and live life to its fullest. He deserves the best, and to be loved, as he has loved us. Now its our turn to have his back, and we've promised ourselves, and him that we will be right by his side the whole way. All donations large or small are very much appreciated.
