Hey everyone. My name is Dylan Chambers. 

You may or may not be familiar with me but I'm pretty sure you don't know my mom too well.

I'd like to introduce you to her by sharing with you this promo clip for one of my shows from a few years ago....



Some of you who follow me may already know but that beautiful and wacky woman was diagnosed with breast cancer (invasive ductile carcinoma)  earlier this year. The plan was for doctors to perform a lumpectomy on her and follow up with a few weeks of radiation but after the surgery, they found that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. She was then upgraded to stage two and was told she would have to go through a grueling process of chemotherapy which she recently started.

It's been very difficult for me to watch her go through this.

My mom is the reason why I live and breathe music. From an early age, she gave me vocal lessons and encouraged me to step out of my shell and onto the stage. The first performances I ever did were with her in NYC and Philadelphia during her sold out, one-woman cabaret shows. (We used to sing a duet of "Anything You Can Do" from the musical, Annie Get Your Gun.) She is a role model to not only me but to all of her vocal students back home in Arlington, TX as well. Every time I step out on stage to perform, wether it's at a tiny bar, on the set of some TV show or at the Beacon Theater, I think of my mom before I do and I silently thank her.

I turn to all of you now to ask for your help. I've set up this page so that I can somehow give back to the woman who has given me everything. All the money raised on here will go directly to paying for the cost of her surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatments which, in all honesty, is getting rather expensive.

I know times are tough and not everyone has a lot of extra money lying around but no donation is too small. I just want to see my mom happy, alive and well.
