Help Tyler pay for broken neck medical bills.

On May 12, 2021, my son and his wife were on their way home from Lafayette. Stephanie (his wife), was driving and Tyler was in the passenger seat. Unfortunately, she fell asleep at the wheel and the car crossed the center line, went into a field, flipped end over end, and then barrel rolled 6 times (witness). Thankfully, his wife only sustained scrapes and bruises. Tyler was not so fortunate. He ended up having a c7 fracture in his spinal area (he broke his neck). They only had liability insurance on the vehicle so their auto insurance will not be paying for anything (including the medical bills). They do not have health insurance through Stephanie’s work yet as she is a temp without full time benefits yet. Each appointment with the spine doctor is $250-$650 dollars out of pocket which is due at the time of appointment. The hospital bill will be an unfathomable amount that they will not be able to afford. He will be in a brace and recovery mode for the next three months before he will be able to function and find work. He is extremely lucky that he wasn’t paralyzed, but he has to not move his head at all while it heals to prevent paralysis. I hate asking for money but in the situation they’ve found themselves in I don’t see any other option than to explain the story the best I can and hope for the best. Any donation will make a difference whether it be $1 or $10. I hope people find it in their hearts to help my son and his wife out in these unpredictable times and the horrific accident that they were both lucky enough to make it out alive. Thanks for reading.
