Come on CANDY

This is my. Best. Friend.

On Friday night she was driving home.  She swerved to miss a pot hole and crashed into a Street Light.  Her husband was thrown out of the car, she was not.  The driver side was crumpled with her trapped inside.  Miraculously they managed to get her out the car.  

 She was unresponsive for 4 hours.  Now she is breathing on her own, heart is beating by itself, but her brain is injured.  They are unsure of the extent of the damage due to the bleeding and swelling.  Time will tell.

I am asking for donations because in Zimbabwe health care is complicated.  The system has crumbled under the government, and citizens do not simply walk in to emergency get treated and leave.  In Zimbabwe, if you need treatment, you need to pay for it , there is no support from the powers that be. 

Candy is the sole income earner of her family.  She works 3 jobs to support her tribe.  She is lying in a bed a million miles from me and for once the person who never shuts up is silent.  

Please help me, help her have the best chance possible at full and total recovery.  I know I've said "can you just stop talking and let me get a word in" but I promise, cross my heart, when you wake up again, I'll always always let you talk as much as you want and you can have all the peanut butter toast you want xx
