On May 10th, 2021, Detective Orozco and his partners were attacked while serving a search warrant. As a result of the fire exchange, Detective Orozco’s partner succumbed to his injuries. Detective Orozco was shot multiple times and sustained injuries. He has not returned to work due to his injuries.
