On July 8, 2016, Allan was taken from his family and friends, in a senseless tragedy. A motorcycle accident. He left behind his beautiful life, which was his wife Leah and daughters Lilly (17) and Emma (15), family and several close friends.
Anyone that knew Allan knows that this world was left a bit darker, without his larger than life shining presence. Allan loved life. He lived life to the fullest, and was a wonderful husband, father, provider and friend. "Big A", many referred to him as, but they knew he was the most gentle, caring and loving person they'd ever meet. A big "Gentle Giant", with an even bigger heart. He would give anything to anyone in need, without hesitation. No questions and no judgment. He'd give the shirt off his back, if someone needed it, and never expect anything in return.
I don't know anyone that could be around Allan without smiling and laughing. He was just good, and he brought out the good in others.
Allan left a mark in this world.. one his family can be proud of.. the mark of love. He loved wholeheartedly and without shame. He would tell you he loved you and he meant it.
I've read so many comments about Allan, and most included a memory of him saying, "If you ever need anything, let me know." No doubt, if you let him know.. he'd help you and he'd be happy to do so.
I'd love to see all the people who were touched by this wonderful, loving husband, father and friend to give back to him, by helping Leah, Lilly and Emma. I want to help raise money to help ease the stress during the dark and difficult times. Anything you feel touched to give will be appreciated.
Leah did not ask for this in any way. This is just me, with a hurting heart, for their loss, helping to give back. If you can't give, please remember them in your prayers and never forget the love and smiles, that Allan left us all to remember.
