She spent 11 days in the hospital (9 in ICU) after receiving 3 stents from blockage, being on a ventilator and heart pumping machine for most of the days, and has spent the last 10 days in a rehabilitation facility with a long road ahead of her.  

Her daughter, Holly, traveled from New Jersey and has been tirelessly taking care of her every need while keeping up with a toddler!  Holly will remain here and will need to put her daughter, Melanie, in childcare.

Currently on FMLA, no money coming in for either of them, another stent procedure, and a ton of physical therapy and cardiac appointments, Mernell and Holly need all the help they can get.  They will also be moving to accommodate their current situation.

You can imagine how scary this will be once bills start coming in.  I am asking all of her Facebook friends and family to help support Mernell in this unexpected time of financial uncertainties.  

All money will go to medical bills, living expenses for her and Holly, childcare for Melanie and moving costs.
