Liver Love for Angie

I'm sure a lot of you are aware that Angie Word has recently undergone a liver transplant on July 1, 2016. During which time she was in the Intensive Care Unit for 10 days. 

She has suffered from primary biliary cirrhosis & hepatopulmonary syndrome. It is an auto immune disease that she has had for 4.5 years and her new liver has been an answer to a prayer. As a transplant operation is extremely expensive, there are a huge amount of expenses that fall outside what normal health insurance will cover. While the human body will recover with treatment, the medical bills left behind are almost as daunting as the surgery itself. As Angie and her family cope with her illness, surgery and recovery, the difficult task of addressing the outstanding cost still looms. Not to mention her immediate family has already been faced with travel expenses and loss of work in order to be by Angie's side.
