This is Elijah Hagstrom, son of my dear friends Jen and Ed Hagstrom. On July 7th, Elijah was taken to the hospital for a persistent fever. After a battery of tests and scans, Jen and Ed were given news no parents ever wants to hear. Their sweet 6 year old little boy has a large tumor on his liver, which has already metastasized to his lungs and other areas around his liver. At this point in time, treatments are being initiated.
