On September 12, 2025, we got the phone call that an accident had taken place. Dad got hurt unloading the trailer. The machine fell on him, and he was rushed to the emergency room. He shattered seven ribs, and his right lung collapsed. He had surgery to help with the shattered ribs. He is still in the ICU, having trouble getting his oxygen to stay up without help. He is there for the long haul and will be out of work for a long time. They will need help with renting a car and hotel, as well as with bills after he gets out. As he says to everyone, we are looking for hand-ups, not hand-outs. They have to make the long trip from Connecticut to Missouri to get home! We appreciate any help. God bless.
