Back in October, I was diagnosed with stage 4 synovial sarcoma. It started in my thigh and metastasized to my lungs. I was heartbroken and terrified but my doctors seemed confident in the treatment plan. Fast forward to now, multiple rounds of chemo, radiation, and surgery, the tumor in my leg is gone but the chemo didn’t work on the nodules in my lungs like my doctors were hoping, they have been the same size since January, and some are even bigger. The treatment I went through is normally the standard for my type of cancer. My doctors are now in a limbo with the next course of action, that’s never reassuring. So while my doctors figure out a new course of action, I have taken matters into my own hands and looked into other options. I have decided to look into some naturopathic/holistic treatments which are highly backed by studies. Unfortunately these treatments and doctors are not covered by insurance. I am trying everything in my power to fight for my life. I am never one to ask for help but I am holding onto every last bit of hope to beat this. Anything is very helpful and I can never thank you all enough.
