Hi everyone, I have had full permission from Vicky & Christopher wilding to make this very sad but urgent appeal to the people of cannock to help them lay their beautiful beloved son Robert to rest.
Robert was just 18 last week and was taken unwell on that very day, after a visit to hospital he was sent home, his mother then made another call to 111 on Saturday evening and was given a prescription to collect on Sunday morning, however the situation took a very unexpected and horrible turn when Robert suffered a cardiac arrest at home early hours of Sunday morning. His mother Vicky made every attempt to resuscitate him and he was taken to hospital where unfortunately his prognosis was very slim and on Tuesday evening the doctors made the decision to turn off all machines keeping Robert alive as there wasn’t any hope for recovery.
As you can imagine this as shattered their whole lives apart into a million pieces. His mother and father and siblings and girlfriend and extended family are left truly devastated. Robert will now have to go through a full post-mortem due to his sudden death after trying to obtain medical assistance twice and because of his age.
Vicky and Christopher are not in a financial position to bury their beautiful son and I offered to create this fundraiser to appeal to our beautiful community of Cannock to help them in their hour of need and their darkest times faced.
I speak from the heart and from being a long standing friend of Vicky when I say she would never ever want to take this route however in these dreadful times so many people have so little, and after all who does ever have a spare £4000 to bury a child they’ve lost suddenly.
