For those that know Thomas Johnson, the name needs no introduction. You'll immediately know his smile, his generosity and his spirit. I met him almost 12 years ago, when we worked together for a short time at the first flagship Apple Store in SF, likely with many of you.

When I was going through a difficult time in my relationship he silently handed me a box of gum inscribed with "Boys are stupid, throw rocks at them." It made my day, and that's just one of a million little things that he does daily for people he cares about, which is pretty much everyone.

If you know Thomas, you know he is a photographer and very good with cameras. He is also going through treatment for cancer, and has an incredible disposition about it all. Today, he posted on Facebook that he is selling his camera gear because "insurance only goes so far," and I can't let him do that.

Please help me in supporting Thomas during this difficult time and giving back at least some of the endless kindness he has shown us. "Cancer is Stupid, let's throw rocks at it."

I hope that once we hit the initial goal, friends will continue to contribute what they can so that we can make a dent in Thomas' on going bills and make sure he doesn't have to worry about them again for hopefully a long time.
