Jochy's Super Babies

At 24 weeks into her pregnancy, Jochy began to have serious complications that threatened the lives of both babies. At 12pm on Fri 7/8/16, doctors were forced to perform an emergency c-section to deliver both baby girls at 24 weeks. After 4 hours in the Scripps NICU, baby Luciana was stable enough to be transported first to Rady Children's Hospital. Her big sister Constanza (by one minute!), was transported shortly after. Both babies are fighting for their lives. With severely underdeveloped lungs and tiny blood vessels, both these little girls have a long and difficult road ahead of them. As any parent can imagine, Jochy and Felipe are heartbroken to see both their little 1 pound babies fighting for their lives. They want nothing more than to be able to be with their babies and shower them with love. The medical bills will be extremely high and Jochy and Felipe will need help in every way to be able to focus on their tiny baby girls.  Doctors project that both babies will be in the NICU until at least their due date...approximately 3 months!

A las 24 semanas de embarazo, Jochy comenzó a tener complicaciones graves que amenazan la vida de los bebés. A las 12 pm el Vie 08/07/16, los médicos se vieron obligados a realizar una cesárea de emergencia para proporcionar tanto los bebés a las 24 semanas. Después de 4 horas en el Scripps NICU, bebé Luciana era lo suficientemente estable como para ser transportado primero en el Hospital de Niños Rady. Su hermana mayor Constanza (en un minuto!), Fue transportado poco después. Ambos bebés están luchando por sus vidas. Con los pulmones gravemente subdesarrollados y los vasos sanguíneos pequeños, estos dos niñas pequeñas tienen un largo y difícil camino por delante de ellos. Como cualquier padre puede imaginar, Jochy y Felipe son el corazón roto para ver sus dos pequeños 1 libra bebés que luchan por sus vidas. Ellos no quieren nada más que ser capaz de estar con sus bebés y ducha con amor. Los gastos médicos serán muy altos y Jochy y Felipe necesitarán ayuda en todos los sentidos para poder centrarse en sus pequeños bebés. Los médicos prevén que ambos bebés estarán en la NICU por lo menos hasta la fecha de vencimiento ... aproximadamente 3 meses!
