Help Me See Clearly Again

Hi!

As y’all know, I have horrible vision. I wear thick, coke bottle type glasses. My eyes get bothered by contacts due to allergies, and can’t handle anything besides daily’s. . Ontop of horrible vision, I lose things all the time. Please don’t ask me how many time’s I’ve lost my glasses and the record amount of time I’ve spent looking for them.

I really, really want LASIK. Due to the severity of my prescription, I’ve had one ophthalmologist tell me no, and I was referred to somebody else. It’s pricey! Vision insurance doesn’t cover it either.

If I max out my FSA, and tap into savings, I’m still coming up short. This is where y’all come in, if you are feeling generous. The goal is $2,000, but I’m trying to be more realistic with a 1,600 goal.

I want to be open that LASIK is a want, not a need. I can keep wearing glasses and contacts forever. It’s not the end of the world. I can push it back another year. I’m just tired of living the extremely nearsighted life.
