Hello everyone, my name is Brett Lampron. My son helped me start this campaign as I need help. In 2020 I found out I had a benign tumor in my left foot after 5 years of misdiagnosis. I had a biopsy done to check if it was cancer, luckily it was not. July 29th, 2020 I had a removal procedure for the tumor which was unsuccessful . My recovery has not been easy, I have been in tremendous and excruciating pain after my surgery. My surgeon was reluctant to see me afterwords even though I made my concerns known. As of March I learned that my tumor has returned much worse than before, not only is it inside the bone of my foot but on the bottom as well. My foot is in the worst pain I have ever felt and is swelling up to my knee after 20 minutes of walking. I am forced to take pain medication to remotely get any kind of relief but they are not working. My new surgeon gave me two choices, to either remove the tumor again which would cause permanent damage and loss of function and the tumor could still return or I can have my foot amputated. After researching and collaborating with my Surgeon I have chosen to amputate my foot. I have been on disability and unable to work since March. Disability has only paid me two times since March and I am scraping by to live, I cant pay my rent, my car payment or any other bills. My surgeon is five hours away in Washington ( I live in Montana) I need to travel and lodge for the surgery, Since I am unable to pay my bills or insurance premium I am desperately asking for anyones generosity to help me. My surgery is June 9th. I would not ask if I had any other option. If you can spare anything I would be extremely grateful. Thank you and please pray for me.
