My wife, Wendy, was diagnosed in April with breast cancer and started chemo right away. This will be followed up by surgery later this fall, and then chemo will continue to finish out a full year of treatment. This process moved very quickly. From the first indication that something was wrong to diagnosis and her first chemo treatment was little more than a month.
There are many financial needs that are beyond our current means, and we would like to invite you to come alongside and help us through this time. We have been on a tight budget for years as we are still recovering from several years of unemployment. In addition, because the overtime hours at my current job are a full third of our income, the time away from work due to medical appointments and daily care is a significant drain on our already limited resources.
Please pray for us in this time. We appreciate your support in prayer, and we also ask you to pray about donating financially. If God puts this on your heart, donations of all sizes will help us with medical expenses as well as time away from work.
Wendy and I have 7 children and 18 grandchildren, and you can read more about Wendy and the work God has done (and is doing) in her at her blog, Blessed Unravelling , where she enjoys writing in the hope that it will be an encouragement to others.
