James Bingham, native of Los Alamos and a friend to so many, has recently been suffering from seizures. He had one of the worst one yet, causing him to fall. He sustained numerous brain injuries, including brain bleeds. James was life-flighted to Albuquerque, where he remains in the ICU in critical condition. He is on a ventilator and in a medically induced coma as doctors attempt to stop the constant seizure activity.

This is a worst case scenario and his family has been nonstop at his side. His wife, Cara, will need help paying bills as they take time off from work to be down in Albuquerque.

James’s family asks for prayers for his full recovery. They need a miracle. They also need strength to make some difficult decisions for the path forward. In addition, if anyone wishes to make a contribution to the family during this brutally difficult time, they would be so very grateful. The Binghams are not normally ones to ask for help, in fact they are normally the ones to be the first to offer help to friends and fellow community members.
