Dear Friends,
My name is Sara Rick Boneschans. My sister’s baby girl, 6 year old dog Lexi Love has recently been diagnosed with T cell Lymphoma Cancer!
The cost of chemo therapy treatments (LOPP), approx $1100/mo and the random unknown ER visits, Lexi and her loved ones are all having a difficult time.
Lexi has always been an energetic, happy, outdoor loving dog until one day Lexi became sick. Appetite loss, lethargy, vomiting, and a hard time swallowing were a few symptoms she experienced. We all thought she had just eaten something she shouldn’t have.
After a doctors visit my sister heard the awful news that her little baby had cancer. Now Lexi is fighting everyday. Some days are better than others but every day is unknown. We are all emotionally, mentally and physically drained.
Lexi is a rescue from Austin Pets Alive who in reality, recused her family. She has been a blessing loving us, and being the best companion a family could ask for. She’s sassy, playful, friendly, loving and excited to see her family; she has to vocally express it. We miss Lexi’s spirit.
We are now fighting to do the best we can to save Lexi‘s life, even though it may be cut short soon. Monies will be used to help cover medical and medication expenses.
