Dean was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in late December 2020. After undergoing heavy chemo for the last few months, he elected to have a very invasive surgery to remove a portion of his esophagus. No amount of prep from the doctors cold have prepared us for the road ahead.
Surgery was successfully performed May 10. He is currently in ICU recovering and will hopefully move to a hospital room. Once discharged, he will be unable to work for several months.
If you know Dean, you know how hard of a worker he is. He’s always gone above and beyond for those in need - from fixing your cars, to helping at your homes, to opening his home to many of you, and even to lending you his ear - and his advice.
