My best friend and his girlfriend were involved in a motorcycle accident (they were t-boned by a truck). He ruptured an artery in his right arm and shattered his ankle. While on scene he applied a tourniquet to his arm with the help of his girlfriend and was able to slow down the excessive blood loss. Had he not done this he would have bled out. He received extensive surgery to repair his ankle while April sustained a significant amount of road rash as well as tearing her calf open. She had to receive 3 sets of approximately 30 stitches to close the wound. TJ is a US Army veteran who served in Iraqi (OIF3), a Purple Heart recipient, and a wounded warrior who is currently in the middle of his compensation and pension claim with the VA. Their medical bills are piling up (TJ's bills alone are exceeding $60k and still growing) they need some help to pay them.
