Support for the Louis Family

Hi everyone. My name is Jennifer Olvera (Sarah’s sister) and I am starting this Go Fund Me to help support the Louis family as they prepare for Ryan’s upcoming heart and kidney transplant. Ryan is a 35 year old survivor of heart transplant surgery. The heart he was given when he was 7 years old now must be replaced. Ryan is very active in the Springfield community with helping support various charity events and fundraisers, and he can now use that same support. Ryan is much too proud to ask for help, but with the help of this amazing community we could lessen the financial burden that this will undoubtedly place on their family. His surgery is being performed in Chicago, so their family will be looking at numerous visits traveling to and from Chicago and hotel stays. Ryan will have many doctors appointments for labs, tests, and costly anti-rejection medication. He will also have loss of work during the transplant waiting period, surgery, and recovery time. My hope is to raise enough money to cover Ryan’s out of pocket deductible and expenses. We want Ryan to be completely focus on healing and not worry about being the main provider for his family.
