For the past 31 weeks, my best friends, Sam and Branden, have been preparing for the arrival of their first child together, Sonny. Sam, Branden and Sam's daughter Ava were so excited for Sonny's arrival- they even moved into a new home to fit their growing family.

This past Sunday on Mother's Day, tragedy struck when Sam and Branden received the worst news of their lives- that Sonny had passed away. At over 7 months pregnant, on a day where she should be celebrating motherhood, Sam had to deliver her son knowing that she wouldn't be able to take him home.

Sam and Branden need our support as they navigate through the hardest time of their life. Any money donated will be used to supplement income while Sam and Branden are off work. Sam has already only been working two days a week due to being high risk.

Additionally, these funds will be used for hospital bills that are through the roof, and funeral and burial arrangements for Sonny.

Sam and Branden are the hardest working people I know and have worked tirelessly to make sure Sonny would have everything he needed, putting every last dime they had into ensuring he would have the best life. They need time to grieve and to put their precious baby to rest the way he deserves.
