Austin Bond is a 27 year old Houstonian. He and his wife have been battling stage 4 metastatic melanoma for the last 3 years. They’ve had their fair share of ups and downs, but last scans showed cancer progression. Austin will be starting a high risk, incredibly harsh treatment on May 10th. If austin can tolerate treatment, he will do two infusions of the harsh treatment and then reassess after scans. Currently austin has tumors in many organs, but the ones giving him the most trouble in the liver and the brain. Switching treatments carries its own risk of rapid progression. We are praying that won’t happen. We are praying for no major toxicity.
