Three weeks ago I lost the use of my right hand and much of the use of my right leg. I have been in the workforce for over 35 years but have been living paycheck to paycheck. Now I can't work and have no safety net.  I need help for rent. Not for myself, but for my rescue dogs Petey, Zorro and Teco, and 33 Year old African Grey Parrot Charley.  I will hopefully have a diagnosis in a few weeks and start the long process of filing for disability, which I know is horrible.  In the meantime we need pet food and meds, and a safe place to live.  A life lesson I learned from the social worker that assisted me with my mom was Don't EVER be afraid to ask for help.
