So for those who know my mom, you know she has a huge heart and has always been a giving person. She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer at the beginning of last month, and since then it has metastasized into her bones. My folks are very low income and my dad takes my mom to the hospital that’s a little over an hour away. If she has to stay, he drives home and then returns in the morning. These funds will help with gas and the cost of hotel rooms, so he can get some rest (He is also going through a cancer battle of his own) I hate to ask for help like this because things are tight for everyone.
