Rest dad in peace

On July 7, 2016 our father Bill Martin was called home to rest after 11 long years of suffering at the young age of 56.
Our father was involved in a motorcycle accident on July 16, 2005, when a van cut him off leaving him quadriplegic.
As u can imagine 11 years of hospital stays, intensive care, blood transfusions, wound surgeries, physical therapy, medications , etc.....have piled up to thousands of dollars in unpaid medical bills. Mortgages were also unable to be paid at times as our fathers medication and care were priority leaving our mother flooded and overwhelmed financially.
One year prior to his accident his hard work as our families primary provider paid off when he reached the height of his success. He was finally able to fulfill his dreams of buying our family a home. Unfortunately he was unable to enjoy it long as his worst nightmares soon became his reality.....
In the blink of an eye he went from being a very active, independent, strong and protective husband , dad and grandfather to having to ask for help as little as scratching his face to wiping his tears from such intense pain physically, mentally and emotionally.
His bravery was heroic, his strength was unstoppable, his jokes and pranks were endless, his smile and laughter was contagious and his love now is deeply missed. He leaves behind a wife, four children, six grandkids, three siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Like our father we have never had to ask for help throughout the difficult years as we have found our way through faith, prayer and God's countless blessings upon our family.
At this extremely surreal and difficult time , a GoFundMe page has been created by my siblings and I to assist our mourning mother with our dad's upcoming memorial service , unpaid medical bills and mortgage.
