"On July 6, 2016 - The Homestead C.D.C. was hit by catastrophe when a raging flash flood ripped through the daycare destroying one of the facilities. This asset to the Stewart County Community needs your help.
Many of the employees are now without a job until this establishment can recover from this disaster. This will put a strain on a number of families that rely on the essential services provided by The Homestead. Now, many families will have to search for temporary day care which can become very costly and time consuming.
As a community or sympathizer, we need YOUR help to continue to keep these wonderful staff members employed and to help replinish the missing items that were lost in the flood that insurance may not cover. If it is $5, $10, $50, $100, or $500 - every little bit will help.
Let's show this amazing daycare the Stewart County love and support that we have all shown each other in other trying times this community has faced and help this business. After all, it was voted Reader's Choice for a reason.
