Baxter’s left eye:

No vision in it all

Zero response to light

Detatched retina. 

Fully formed cateract

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do for his left eye but he will need lifelong treatment to stop the eye from dying and needing to be removed. 

Baxter’s right eye:

Very little vision and what he does have is blurry and distorted. 

His retina is ok. 

The cataract is not fully formed

The chances of a successful outcome with surgery is in the high 90% with little chance of relapse. 

The cost of the operation for his RIGHT eye is £4000.00. 

That doesn’t include any medication he would need and all the follow up and post op care which could easily exceed another £1000.00! 

We believe at only 3 years old Baxter deserves the chance to be able to see. He is very nervous when out and about due to his lack of vision and it is therefore affecting him greatly and he is suffering with anxiety. We are certain that giving him full vision in one eye will transform his life, and he has many years to left enjoy life! 

As a small voluntary run rescue unfortunately we do not have these kind of funds, so please please can you help us change this beautiful boys life. Any help you can give us will be amazing, every single penny makes a difference and we will be truly grateful
