It is with a heavy heart that this page is being created!
Christopher Gordon Jr (CJ) passed away in a tragic accident on Sarurday September 19, 2015. He was trimming a tree limb (which he has done for years) around 10 am, When another limb fell and landed on him. Chris fell roughly 35 feet, he was only 39 years old. CJ was an avid hunter, fisherman, and coach but most importantly he was a husband, father, and friend to so many people. CJ had a big heart and would help anyone anytime. His love for his family was visible in all he did.
He leaves behind his wife Kelly and their 3 beautiful children Alexis, Chris Gordon III, and Hannah, at a time when they all so desparately need him. He has left at a time in a child's life where your father is so very important, the adolescent years. Alexis is a freshman in high school and Chris and Hannah are both in middle school.
CJ was a avid member of the NWAA football organization and a great coach. He touched the lives of so many children in such a positive light. He taught them never to give up, even when they wanted to. His motto "Go Big or Go Home" was exactly what his players gave him.
He is now a guardian angel to so many and will be missed greatly.
Kelly, Alexis, Chris, and Hannah are in need of our help. Kelly is now a single mom who lost her best friend in the whole world. They were not prepared for this, and the children especially need our help. If you can even just donate a dollar it would help raise money to allow the children to continue with their sports, to help pay for funeral costs, food, and clothing for the children.
No family deserves to suffer such a tradegy and if you have been in their shoes you understand and if you haven't, I hope you would help anyways because you never know when it is your time.
Life is so short and this is a reminder of how short it really can be. Please let's try and make their lives a little easier by taking some of the financial burden off of them.
