Family Boating Accident

A family residing in Upstate NY was boating on Wednesday, July 6th, on Skaneateles Lake. This included Chris and his 8 year old daughter. While tubing, Chris and his daughter were struck by a boat, causing serious injuries. Chris suffered a broken arm, lacerations and other minor injuries. His daughter lost both her left arm and leg and suffered serious head trauma.

I am providing an update as a response to many requests from this fundraiser.

I am not directly related to the persons involved but have been a close family friend for over 20 years. The funds are going directly to the father of the child in the accident. How it is used will be at his discretion, but one can only imagine the future cost in medical bills and home modifications it will take to bring his baby home.

I love that family with all my heart and at this time this is the only way I can help.
