Hi, my name is Megan and I am trying to raise funds for my sister, Lori, who has had Multiple Sclerosis for the past 25 years. She has had to make a lot of changes over the years. From unsteady walking, to walking with a cane, to walking with a walker, to using a power wheelchair full-time for the last four years , her independence has been greatly reduced. The ceiling lift system, with the use of a Sure Hands Lift, will help her regain some independence. However, the most important thing is that it will safely transfer her in and out of bed, on and off the toilet, in and out of the shower, and it will transfer her in and out of her wheelchair without the risk of falling. She has had numerous falls in the past few months and it has become one of her greatest fears. Having this system would mean the world to her. It would keep her safe and give her back some independence. Any financial help toward this system would be very much appreciated.
