Hi everyone, I’m sad to share but maybe you know already that Bev Katschke has been diagnosed with Paget’s disease, a rare form of breast cancer.
She will be getting full mastectomy surgery . Following surgery there will be 6 to 8 week recovery if all goes as planned and nothing is found in the lymphatic system.
After recovery from her mastectomy then comes reconstruction surgery and another 6 to 8 weeks of recovery.
Due to Covid, her business, Comfort Cafe has been hit hard and cannot afford to hire to take her place. Therefore there will be no income during surgery, treatment, recovery and reconstruction.
