Hello my name is Luke Harwell, My beloved and best friend golden retriever (Dakota) was at the vet a few weeks ago (4/28) to have a abnormal growth in his throat examined, we believed it to be a harmless growth at first and continued with antibiotics but I got a call this morning (5/4) unfortunately confirming via lab results that it is an aggressive cancer, his first appointment is May 12th to begin some tests and they estimated the treatment costs could be between $8,000 and $10,000. Since dakota is so young the vets think he has a good chance at recovering but I don’t have enough for that entire amount, Dakota is a sweet loving boy who I’ve taken across the country, gone on countless adventures with, and not to mention he gives the best morning cuddles. I’ve never had a bond so strong with a dog and I would be so grateful for anything you can donate to help us get thru this. Thank you
