Struggle to Serve documentary

Hello all,
We are working on a project right now to create approximately an hour long documentary on the current Sikh struggle to serve in the U.S. military. For the last 8 years now, I've been working closely with the Sikh Coalition and a number of other organizations to help bring about the end to this discriminatory policy of exclusion.
About a year and a half ago, we put together a 16 minute film short with the help of SikhLens and Chapman University at the Dodge School of Film and Media Arts. That short documentary can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/aPB7_vJ9UYU
We are looking to build and expand upon that original piece, and create a product that is "tv-ready." The team at Chapman is well-poised to help our community accomplish this. They have a proven track record for putting together high production value films which go on to win awards and are also picked up by networks for broader distribution.
Moreover, the community at Chapman University and SikhLens care deeply about the Sikh military campaign. They understand that the largest employer in the U.S., our military, can not simply deny the right to serve to an entire community. If we can not serve, then we are simply pawns and slaves in the system. Military service is empowering and will help push back against the hateful rhetoric of the current election cycle.
