Dr Laura Prager, a well known and loved nursing professor at LIU Post, needs our thoughts and prayers.
26 years ago she beat Breast Cancer. A few months ago, her daughter was unfortunately diagnosed with Breast Cancer. On top of being a warrior while supporting her daughter and family, she suffered from a stroke on April 10th, resulting in visual and physical deficits. The stroke was a result of a devastating diagnosis which then followed, stage 3/4 Ovarian Cancer.
