Matthew Eldenburg was 30 years old.
He loved jokes and pranks.
He loved trying all different kinds of new foods.
He loved candy.
He loved the resturant El Tapitio so much he worked there for years.
He loved to lay by his family's pool and tan.
He loved discovering new music and would wear his Beats headphones whereever he went because he thought they were so cool.
He was always up for an adventure, whether it was going to concerts, beating everyone at Mario Cart, Olive Garden runs, cliff jumping into the Lake of the Ozarks or Skype dates with his sisters.
He loved wearing his onesie accompanied by his slippers, sometimes even out to eat.
He had just been hired by Waterloo, a company in Sedaila and had previously worked for General Cable.
He loved making people laugh, especially his dad Steven, mom Becky and three sisters, Stephanie, Tori and Sarah. His own laugh was infectious, something his family referred to as his "cackle''.
With Matthew, there was never a dull moment, gossiping about the latest news or talking about life in general, he kept every moment entertaining.
He had struggles and triumphs, good days and bad.
He was a son, a brother, a grandson, a soon to be Uncle.
His life was ended far too early.
On June 23, 2016; Matthew Eldenburg was tragically murdered. There is really no gentle way to say it. The details are heartwrenching and difficult to comprehend, and the events have left his family grappling with emotions.
Many people have asked what they can do to help, and though there is nothing we can do to fill the Matthew sized hole in their hearts, we can rally together behind the Eldenburg family and show support in a time when uncertainty is certain, we can ease some of the end of life costs so they can focus on their family and strengthening each other in this time of loss.
All of the monetary support raised from your donations will go to Steven and Becky Eldenburg and family to help with the memorial, burial and end of life costs.
Thank you so much for donating, prayer and supporting this family in their time of intense pain and sorrow.
