Saturday afternoon my best friend’s husband, Aaron Brown, suffered a massive heart attack while at work. He went without oxygen to his brain for twenty minutes and EMTs had to use paddles twice at his job site and once in the ambulance to get his heart beating again. Aaron went in to cardiac arrest. He is still in intensive care. They are keeping him in a coma for another week and and it won’t be until they wake him up that we can begin to asses brain function. Crystal is not leaving his side.
This is a family that has overcome every single hurdle thrown their way. In this last year alone one of their children got diagnosed with autism, and another started transitioning. They showered their kids with nothing but love and support getting them therapy and doctors appointments that they so desperately needed. Then in December Crystal suffered from a kidney stone that turned into a nasty kidney infection that nearly took her life. More days in the emergency room. More bills piling up. The only thing they ever ask for is love and healing thoughts.
I’m asking for your guys’ help. This family is my family. They have three children and with neither parent being able to work I’m really hoping this amazing community can come together to help lighten their load during this nightmare. I will keep you all posted as I can about Aaron’s medical status and what bills they will be facing.
