Welcome everyone.
My name is Ben and I am a friend of Moes. (Pictured)
This is Moe. He is a PT just like all of us. The only difference is, he is not training any clients right now.
I ask that for those that know Moe to please keep this to themselves, as he would never ask for something like this in a million years.
I took Moe on as an intern last year after observing how incredibly giving and helpful he was as a student.
From the moment he took on his first client the incredible feedback started rolling in.
"He really cares, he really goes above and beyond to make sure I am going ok."
"I love my sessions with Moe, he is so personal, caring, checks in with me all the time, even just just to chat about how my kids, work, partner are going, he really does do a wonderful job."
"Nicest, trainer I have ever had and he is so smart, I learn so much every session!"
As you can see Moe will do anything and everything for his clients. He treats them like family. He is honestly one of the nicest, most helpful and genuine people I have ever met.
Moes brother died this year. Which left his wife with a mortgage, bills and no way to pay them.
Moe had to move miles away from his PT business and look after his brothers wife and 3 kids, working in his uncles Paint business.
Moe has a partner Sue and toddler of his own Bubby.
Sue has aggressive stomach cancer.
The paint business is failing and Moe can't afford treatment for Sue and has bills to pay to keep a roof over all of their heads.
Here is where you come in.
I want to unite the PT community for just one day. One Saturday. We work together but separately at our own businesses. We run a competition where our clients get sponsored by their friends and family.
It could be for say a dollar a burpee
a beep on the beep test, or a gold coin donation just to join the enter to do a group bootcamp.
You could do the thousand stairs or a beach bootcamp.
You see the finer details don't matter so much, they just really really need your help.
The money raised will go directly to Moe and his family to pay for medical treatments, food, mortgage, school fees and anything else they are falling behind in. If we exceed our target the money could potentially go towards Moe setting back up in the business that he loves.
At this point I think doing the first Saturday of September gives us enough time to really promote this thing and get our fitness communities together for a great cause.
I am already so grateful for all the well wishes and help to this point, let us now get the ball rolling.
