Hello everyone, at 69 years old I am riding my bike across the country diagonally from my home in Florida to Port Townsend Washington. I may not be the oldest person who has done this sort of thing, but I am likely the oldest who has done it having had polio, and with insulin dependent diabetes. I began this journey on April 1. I am starting this fundraiser from Pawhuska Oklahoma. I have already ridden over 1200 miles. Mostly I have been camping along the way. I would like your help in assisting with some better weather-dodging accommodation and to help get me, my bicycle and my gear back to Florida from Seattle. I thank you for your support. 
Without irony I am dedicating this ride to world peace. If I can do this world peace should be possible.
