Hello friends and family,
As many of you know, my 9 year old niece, Skylynn, has been PICU at the Arnold Palmer hospital since Tuesday, June 28. Skylynn is an amazing little girl...smart, vibrant, caring, giving and compassionate. She is a straight A student and a cheerleader for her school.
Skylynn had a venous stroke caused by severe dehydration due to ulcerative colitis. The stroke caused a blood clot to form in the venous vessel of her brain. The clot is growing, despite efforts thus far. This type of clotting and swelling is pushing on other parts of her brain.
Today we will be discussing what the best treatment is at this point. Skylynn's mother, Nicole and dad, David, havent left her side since day one and due to them wanting to be here and support her they are unable to work. I am setting up this account to help my little sister, Nicole and David with medical bills, possible surgery, ongoing therapy, and any possible treatments. They will need many prayers and any help you can offer, as there are still many unknowns and this will be an ongoing battle. I will keep everyone updated with progress. Please help in any way you can. If you cannot donate please share as much as possible.
Thank you for your support.
