Evan Austin & Family Rio 2016

Hi, I’m Adam Austin! I am the older brother of Paralympic swimmer Evan Austin. Just recently Evan qualified for the 2016 Paralympic games down in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!

To give you a little bit of history Evan has been swimming for the majority of his life. He was the first alternate for the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games and a member of Team USA for the 2012 London Paralympics Games.  Evan had a great meet in London but did not medal. For the Rio games his goal is to come back to the USA and the State of Indiana with a medal(s) around his neck. There would be no greater honor than to do this for himself, his family, his State and his Country.

My Parents, Good Ole Eric and Nola Jo, along with myself and my wife Erica are currently planning our trip down to Rio in September to support Evan. We had so much amazing support in 2012 when we traveled to London and it still means so much to my family today! We are doing all that we can to cover these costs however with anything like this it is becoming very expensive. We can’t wait to see and support Evan during the games in Rio!
