My mom has been in the hospital for the last week and was just moved to ICU. She has pneumonia and an enlarged heart. The tests results came in yesterday AM and there is fluid in building up her lungs. She also has been diagnosed with high blood pressure and diabetes which adds additional health complications. Her oxygen keeps dropping as her cough is so extreme. They have hooked up high octane o2 for the last two weeks and are giving her steroids and medications. The doctors want to put her on a ventilator. We are praying that we do not have to induce coma and put her on a ventilator. They are giving her 30-40% survival. God is giving her 100%! 

My mom is the strongest kindest most loving generous person I know. Everything she has done was for her family. She has sacrificed sooo much for the happiness of others. She carries our heartaches and burdens and in return pours out more and more love.

When my mom was 16 she moved to Spain to work as a nanny for 9+ years. In that time she has sent back all of her earnings home to take care of her family and send all 7 of her siblings through college, sacrificing not going to college herself to take care of her parents.

She and my dad moved to the Philippines 6 years ago after our house burned down to build a resort to provide jobs for my family and village; and a safe clean environment for friends and family to gather.

This last year they were forced to closed down due to the pandemic and have had no income for 11+ months. My uncle and his family have been so gracious to pay the bills although with the added medical expenses it has become very very tight.

Mark Hayley Jess and I are scrambling to find the the funds to send back. Truly we have been tight on money ourselves. Mark and Hays are working so hard to keep their business afloat while raising two little ones. And Jess and I just a couple weeks ago paid in full several wedding expenses along with medical expenses for Jess’s ruptured Achilles surgery. 

We so wish we had money saved up for this family emergency. 

First payment due Friday: 439,774 pesos equivalent to $9232 (this is only for the medicine and treatment so far not including doctor or hospital room stay)

Doctors are estimating this will cost $30k+ for treatment medications hospital stay and specialists. 

I know the whole world has been tight on money and we are all struggling.

The lord will provide and by his stripes she will be healed. God we give you the glory and praise for healing my mom and we confess a fast recovery! She is the strongest women I know and will come out of this !
